In Noveber Henry Glick will discuss a recent project with Tom Crowther to count trees globally. Based on their recent paper in Nature titled “Mapping Tree Density at a Global Scale” there are 3.04 TRILLION trees. While remote sensing was used for a portion of this study, Henry will cover the many techniques, surveys, etc. that were combined to produce this first-of-its-kind estimate.
