Description:

This project will be conducted in Yosemite National Park in California to study the influences of shrub cover and seed source on postfire conifer regeneration across fire severity gradients. As fire has become more severe in the western United States, this study will provide management implications for fire-adaptive forests that are resilient to the impacts of future fire regimes.
