Description:
The Office of Sustainability is calculating the percentage of impervious surface on campus and how that impacts stormwater quality. This project analyzes current land cover, future projections given planned construction and environmental conditions, and the impact of these factors on stormwater and other environmental metrics. The project will involve researching the impacts of impervious cover, the creation and analysis of up-to-date GIS data for campus regarding surface cover and levels of vegetation, and statistical analysis of land cover share on the environment.
