Classifying small pond winter surface type at Yale-Myers

This project will be a continuation of my OEFS project. I will continue to work on classifying small wetland, winter surface coverage at Yale-Myers in order to construct a predictive model of salamander distributions. In an effort to maximize the available resolution of the IKONOS imagery, I will attempt to merge the 4 band spectral resolution with the panchromatic spatial resolution. I also hope to obtain hyperspectral aerial photographic imagery for analysis. The procurement of this imagery would likely be contingent upon funding, which I will be looking into over the summer.
