I will be experimenting with GR-LevelX with two purposes in mind: First, I will seek to determine the viability of GR-LevelX software for Professor Ron Smith’s New Zealand research project. The anticipated role of additional data analysis provided by the new software has yet to be explicitly articulated, but it is likely that the GR-LevelX will be able to contribute at some level. Additionally, by familiarizing myself with the software, I hope to be able to speak to the potential of expanding radar analysis of moist convection at Yale.
