The European Space Agency (ESA) successfully launched the Sentinel 2B satellite into orbit today. When this has been placed in final orbit and completed calibration we will be able to get Sentiel 2 images every 5 days.
Sentinel 2 data are provided in multiple resolutions. There is a 10m resolution image covering the blue, green, red, and near infrared parts of the spectrum. This satellite also captures data at 20m resolution in the red-edge, near IR and SWIR parts of the spectrum and another 3 bands at 60m resolution.
