On February 6, 2018 SpaceX successfully launched the Falcon Heavy rocket into space. This is the largest rocket launch since the Saturn 5 missions to the moon many decades ago. There are quite a few things that are pretty spectacular about this mission.
First, it was done by a private company.
Second, it had an unusual payload. Elon Musk’s personal Tesla Roadster complete with a “spaceman.” See a picture from the front seat, along with many other great shots and video, on the Verge at: https://www.theverge.com/tldr/2018/2/7/16982052/spacex-falcon-heavy-photos-videos-watch-replay
Third, and most amazing. The two outer booster rockets returned to earth and landed at almost the same time. Now they can be reused again. You can see a video of the landing here: https://youtu.be/Z_kfM-BmVzQ
