Draining the Kathmandu Valley

I’m working on a term paper on the environmental change in Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. For the research I would like to have access to satellite images to detect the valley’s land use change.  GIS would be used to quantify land cover maps created from satellite images.  I would also use MODIS data to look at atmospheric conditions and humidity distribution in the valley.  In the end I hope to create maps to convey the findings in be included in the paper.
