Description:

Significant correlations have been found between US forest cover and temperature change at different geographical scales during the last decades. This project looks at relationships between current forest land cover and temperature change over the US, trying to determine the effects of forest cover  on temperature trends and to analyze the dynamics of temperature change.

Analysis will be performed based on analysis of land cover databases for the US with GIS and other tools.
