Description:
We will use the center’s expertise and software to examine MODIS infrared imagery as part of an exploratory study on the distinction of subvisible cirrus from thick convective outflow cirrus. We will also be examining MISR data if these are available from the center, otherwise these will be obtained from NASA and made available to the center.
