Description:
I need to use GIS to create maps and visualize regional elevation, gravity, seismic and magnetic data to provide geographic and geophysical context for petrologic and geochemical data which I produce in the lab. The project will be describing the structure and composition of the lithosphere of the Italian peninsula which has relevance to the process of convergent tectonics in general and may be useful to quantify the thermal evolution of the Mediterranean basin.
