Event description:

This workshop is targeted to students who have taken the introductory workshop, or already have a basic understanding of remote sensing concepts.  It will be taught in the YCEO Lab.  Students will use ENVI software to explore a variety of image enhancement and analysis techniques to identify features in the landscape.  Tools include 2D scatterplots, spectral/temporal profiles, and cell value and mensuration tools.  Students will also use image histograms and statistics to explore these satellite data.

Because space is limited by the number of workstations in the Center, each session of this workshop is limited to 13 students.

Pre-registration is required so an account can be created for you at the Center.

Please contact Larry Bonneau at the Yale Center for Earth Observation to enroll in a workshop. Make sure you specify the workshop name and date you wish to attend.

This workshop is next offered on Wednesday 08 October.  It will be held in the YCEO Lab in ESC 119 from 5pm to 7pm.
