Description:

This project is the focus of FES519b, Methods of Ecosystem Analysis, co-taught by Tom Siccama and Ann Camp. The purpose of this project is to study the decline of hemlocks in the south end of the North Madison Cedar Swamp. As a part of this study, we aim to determine the size of the watershed, the swamp area as a whole, and of our study area in the south end of cedar-hemlock mix.
