Event description:
The introductory remote sensing course Observing Earth From Space begins on Tuesday 16 January 2018. This course teaches the theory and application of satellite remote sensing for environmental science. The course consists of two lectures a week and one two-hour workshops. Students learn how to import and manipulate images to extract meaningful information and data. Students also complete an independent project of their choice, using the techniques and technologies covered during the semester.
